This month I am fetaured in the latest issue of Net Magazine as part of the Design Challenge.
The challenge was to create a web design for a co-working space. Instead of going down the fictional route, I decided to feature a real co-working space — Rabble Studio based in Cardiff.
The main aim of the brief was for the design to give a feel of the space and it’s environment. I’d noticed that Rabble had some nice photography done of the workspace and I was lucky enough to be able to use this.
I chose a black-and-white colour scheme which would compliment the brand and allow the colourful photography to give a real vision into the space.
The design included a mobile-friendly version. The card style pricing section was used in the magazine to demonstrate the facilities available and costs.
The Design Challenge is a regular feature in Net Magazine where three designers are given the same brief and each design is featured in the magazine together along with a write-up and short interview.
Big thanks to Dan Spain for allowing me to use Rabble Studio in this feature.
